Provisioning Profile

kenrobolkenrobol Member, PRO Posts: 39

I have been trying everything for months. I was able to get one game to load with provisioning profile and since then nothing. I have watched the videos and deleted my information and put it back in again. Any secrets? Any ideas?

Can't get it to work on Apple to upload my game!

When you say you have watched the videos...does that include my series?

If you can Skype and be available this evening around 9-10pm CDT USA...I could help you get everything done.

You need 2 certificates on your computer. One is a provisional DEVELOPMENT and one is for distribution.
You need to create an Apple Id for your game. eg www.yourName.yourGameName.

You need 2 PROFILES...DEVELOPMENT and DISTRIBUTE your game. When you create these profiles name them. yourGame_DEV, AND yourGame_DIST.

When you create the profiles ensure you have use your games Apple ID with both.

You only use the DISTRIBUTION profile when you are ready to send to apple.

When testing with gamesalad ensure that the AppleID is EXACTLY the same in the publisher section of gamesalad as it is on the Apple site.

If for example you sign your app with your distributor profile, and then try to test on your device you may find the app gets stuck at installing or just won't work.

You must use PROVISIONAL PROFILE for all testing.

Ensure that xcode is up to date, and application loader is up to date.

Sign your game on the GS publishing site with your DISTRIBUTION profile. When you have it on your desktop, compress it, and upload it through application loader.

It can take 10-15 min to appear on the apple site as a build, then you should be able to submit.

Everything must match... Version nums, correct profiles, etc.

    Hope that helps :)

Still no luck getting my apple to work. I had it working before I got a pro membership and know I am missing something.
