How do you get your game noticed ?

    @Lovejoy is right. Just because you build it doesn't mean people will download it. I have had succes by offering my games for free for a short time and then selling them.

    Also your game looks like a jumbled mesh of past hit games. Focus on creating a quality semi orginal game and then market it via social media. Think long term bra trying to creating a hit straight out of the box.

    This is why many people make one game then quit. They believe it is easy to get thousands of dowloads and get a rude awakening when they are slapt in the face by reality.

    As been said above, just keep making games and focus on getting good stuff out there. You don't have to create something that has never been done before (which is actually almost impossible) but make sure it looks good and is engaging to your players.

    Not Quitting. Learning. But still missing the question. Launch a game......What are tips on getting it noticed?

    I do understand the frustrations that all have, but have some had successes in getting reviewed?

    Try pushing it on all the social media you have. Twitter, facebook, google+, reddit etc.

    Send your game to review sites (prepare for no responses) and hope maybe one of them will write about your game.

    Don't stop pushing your game after release. You need to do this for a long time after release to increase your chanses of someone picking it up.

    I have had articles written ( not full reviews) about my latest game and did notice a little spike in downloads, but my game was paid at the time of the articles which probably decreases my chances a lot.
