What is iBeacons?

Today the Apple Review team not approved one of my binarys and ask this:

"We began the review of your app but aren't able to continue because we need additional information about your app.

At your earliest opportunity, please review the following question(s) and provide as much detailed information as you can. The more information you can provide upfront, the sooner we can complete your review.

  1. How are iBeacons being used within the app?
  2. Are iBeacons an indispensable part of the app?"

What the hell are iBeacons and what have I to answer now?

    Did you checkmark any sort of bluetooth or any unusual checkmarks when making your certs/itunes connect info?

    @Lovejoy No, I did not checked anything unusual. The only thing is that the chartboost ads in my account are not shown since yesterday.

    Not sure whats going on then, haven't seen this rejection before.

    Me too - it's the first time I saw this and we have >350 apps in iTunes.

    Could be in Chartboost. Does your app use any type of Location service? Does your app do anything when using multi-task?

    I still need your help friends. Tonight the next 4 apps was rejected with the iBeacons question. I have no idea what I have to answer. Here the review team question:

    I asked them to clarify the question but I got no answer - only more rejections.

    i've searched Google, but nothing found for this issue.
    Wait a few hours, they will contact you if you have wrote to the review team.

    When I searched it the other day, the 3 things I posted came upTry going through GS support, might be they added ibeacon functionality in some way and it is incorrect
