Please help! GameSalad keeps crashing on preview
Hi everyone, as the title suggests I'm having trouble with GameSalad crashing when I try to preview my games. I've tried to follow optimization tips posted on these forums and online, and have also checked my .net framework version (its currently at version 4.5). I am able to preview them in HTML.
I'm fairly new to GS and have been trying to make simple games to learn my way around the program, so there's really nothing complex in the projects I'm making (things like endless runners, space invader type games). I've even removed all images, turned physics for objects that don't use them to 0, uncheck preload art, make sure actors that can't be seen have "visible" to off etc. The only media files that I use are a couple of sound files (not music). All my actors are still blocks so the game is mostly primitive and small in size.
This issue has happened to me over 4-5 projects that I had to restart to get rid of it, but the issue keeps popping up after working on them for a bit. The projects start out fine and everything works, but after working on them for a little while I encounter this issue and have no idea how to fix it, I've tried looking through the forums and searching online for a solution but haven't come across one yet.
As an example, the last project I worked on was working fine yesterday night, but when opening the project this afternoon it started to have the same issue, despite not having added anything to it. I even saved my project in multiple files so if one started to crash I could revert back to the old files to start working on them from a previous point in time, but even all the old save files have the same issue.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to fix it.
