How to Constrain to Angled Path?

Hey all! I have various actors that I need to constrain movement along various straight line, angled paths, but need them to stop when they bump into each other. It seems that when I set them to collide, they fly off the path, if I just set their "Move" action to an angle and a speed. Is there a way to keep them on their path, even when they bump into each other? Make sense?

Can you add any more detail, for example do the paths cross, do the actors travel back and forward (in a loop) along these paths, when they stop (on collision), do they then start to move again . . . . etc . . . ?
