Do they drop off the scene? If you so, you need to tick 'fixed' in Physics tab for the actor. Fixed rotation means that it wont be a moving object - like a ground for example or platform.
If you want something to move, you constrain to X/Y and untick fixed.

here is a video of it:
Do the actor instances have any rules or behaviors? You can check by double-clicking on the actor(s) on the scene. Another way to check if this is the cause is to drag a new copy of the actors onto the scene and see if they also disappear.
Another thing is to make sure you aren't changing the scene. What I would do is to put a unique actor on each scene (e.g. a different color). Then when you preview, check to see if the actor you expect to see on that scene (e.g. blue on scene 1) shows up. If not, you're looking at the wrong scene.
Post again with any details you figure out and we'll go from there...
P.S. This doesn't really have anything to do with text since your actors are just drawings of letters... you're actually having a problem where actors and/or actors' images are disappearing.

@tronio Check the Alpha channel under Color and make sure it's not set to zero.

@tatiang i tried both of those things and neither work
and i checked the alpha and it was on 1.
Do you think it woud help if i start over
I'm not sure what that means. Did you figure out which scene you're previewing? Were your actors locked? What happened when you deleted and re-added the actors? If you like, you can upload the project folder to a file-sharing site and then post the download link here. Starting over is up to you!
