Problems with the preview

Hi,

I created an app on my laptop (Windows 8 version).

I want my actor to move left, right and jump and I also programmed it that way. When I look in the preview my actor can move, but when I close and look again, my actor can not move anymore. What do I have to do?
And where do I have to make the rules? I see actor1 (prototype) and** actor1 (instance)**. What's the difference?
