The book will combine an authoritatively written inside story, thoroughly researched via new, first-hand interviews with The Bitmap Brothers' key figures, with a breathtaking haul of never-before-seen archive material, including original production drawings and digital artwork from seminal titles such as Xenon 2: Megablast, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe and The Chaos Engine. Ah, childhood. How sweet you made it, Bitmap Brothers! I'll probably not support the book sadly, but I'll be very glad to know it exists! And I'll go play some Xenon 2 and Gods!

Game naming reached it's peak with the Bitmap Brothers.

    • Xenon 2: Megablast
    • Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe
    • The Chaos Engine

    Ah, good days, good days.

    • 1 hour or less to go... *

Hi @Armelline I'm obviously older than you then, by a good few years - but The Bitmap Brothers' games still made it sweet too for me in the 80's !

Before their time and of their time, defining so much, didn't they....

Good days indeed! I'm gonna stretch my limited budget and will be buying a book - the offer was just too tempting not to....

The 80s were a truly glorious time to grow up! I genuinely think, nostalgia aside, that there was no better time. Maybe the early 90s, but I'd not trade!

I guess it's hard to comprehend now - but this opening music sample and gfx completely blew my mind back in 1989! Great memories!:

@Digichain cheers, that took me right back! The graphics still hold up don't they - and we had more patience in those days with the credits before the game started....
