So Apple and I had a chat today about my rejected app - Help on Start up ads

And it turns out that the advert in question appears right upon starting the app. They said that if this wasnt the case, they wouldnt mind so much.

So, I bet you are thinking 'well turn off start up ads'

Interesting, because ages ago I decided not to have start up adverts appear in any of my new games. I havent even selected 'start up ads' either - so at a loss why an advert would be appearing at the start.

Does anyone have any experience here or thoughts why there would be a start up advert on iOS when I havent selected there to be one? Does iAds/apple ads do a start up advert?

iAd should not be a problem. They are only banners.

Do you have a initial scene that changes to another one in the beginning?
You might have on screen change the checkbox checked to enable ads there for getting an interstitial ad appearing as a startup ad.
