Search Bar and using gamesalad for non games

can you create a search bar in gamesalad and is it a good idea to make apps that are not games in gamesalad?

It would be like a dictionary
You search for the specific thing your looking the brings up the reults that mach it.

GameSalad should be able to handle that without any real problems.

Not sure how it will... we have no true data entry fields... or did things change?
