"Google In-App Billing Detected"

I'm testing my game on Amazon. It keeps telling me that "Your APK includes a manifest declaration or an API invocation referring to Google's in-app billing services."

On the GS publishing page:

1) Google In-app button is unchecked.

2.) In "services" -- the same Amazon API Key is entered twice-- for Android and for Amazon.

What could possibly be causing this issue?

Check under services- google and make sure there is nothing there.

Are you testing your .apk through the Amazon App Testing Service? Or did an actual person from Amazon test your app?

If you tested it with the App Testing Service, you shouldn´t have anything to worry about. I got the same message a few times, but Amazon accepted the app anyway.

I got this message from Amazon App Testing Service. I'm sure they will accept the app, however, it really needs to meet all their criteria so it can go on their Kindle store.

My app was accepted for both, Kindle devices and non Amazon android devices.

It says "we found some issues that may prevent your app on one or more devices..." Then it says "Devices Affected" -- all Kindle Fire models!

So, if I go ahead and submit the app without fixing the issue, presumably it will go on sale, but not for the Kindle, which is really counterproductive.

That being said, I cannot figure out how to get the Google in-app manifest code out of the binary. I haven't selected anything "Google" related on the GS Publishing Platform.

The irony is, it plays perfectly on the Kindle. However, because of the invisible google code, Amazon might reject it out of their store.

I just ran one of my apps through the Amazon App Testing Service. It´s an apk that is published to Amazon App Store and is currently available on Kindle devices.

I still got the notice about the Google in-app manifest. So it should not prevent your app being published to Kindle devices. Since i got the same "error", and the app is still currently available.

I just got the same problem and am wondering if it is preventing my Amazon hosted IAPs from working. I am also unable to find my test app on Amazon despite having logged in with the test account I provisioned.
