Hello Guys , I started working with Game salad about 4 months ago , It took me a while to learn but the video tutorials on youtube were excellent, this is my first game progress, i'm planning to make an RPG Platformer , any feedbacks would be great.

** I would really really like to thank Jamie Cross for his amazing video tutorials **

don't know what's the story or what are ur challenges but it seems fine...music's like first final fantasy games..for me if i'm creating a game like this i prefer having different layers for my background and having them move by different speeds so that it feels more realistic..like limbo if u have played it you'll know what i mean

If you look around you can get some really good professional art made pretty cheaply cause this art isn't good enough unfortunately but the gameplay looks really smooth and nice I love the old school wonderboy 3 style RPG games

I disagree with the others on the art quality. I like Lou. Like a chubby Airbender.

The other characters just need some movement, even a 3-4 frame loop of them breathing would do a lot.

Looks great! I like the art but if you were going for a RETRO look you might want to change it so that you can see the squares in the people and other things. Great job by the way. I like Lou's walking animation too. Hope you keep doing well!

@TirelessGrapes I will add breathing animation , thanks alot for your feedback !

@jdlcrater Thanks alot for your feed back , I'm not sure I know how to do retro style or if what I did is called retro , cause I dont know the meaning lol , I will research more into it , but thanks alot !

@NamoOI Retro means old BUT cool. So, Mario Bros., Zelda, POKEMON! But since this is the 21st century so you can't have a retro-ly mechanical game. BUT, your art can be pixelated like this so that it looks retro.! That is my game character face but I tried to make it look as pixely as possible. I hope I am right with all of my info

Hey , I am kind of lost , my friend told me that the first one was better but I feel like this is more detailed but he said that the first one looked much better and the grounds here looks like cheese , what do you guys think ? I added background and parallex scrolling and put more detailed walls and grounds , give me your opinion please , and thank you !
