I think @DeepBlueApps has a template for walking up and down ladders. That would give you a good start. In fact I bet if you look at all the GS templates out there you could piece together a fair amount of the coding. Or just figure it out yourself and ask for help on the forums when you're not sure how to do something. You'll get it done.

Our ladders template is a great start for Burger Time and it was one of the games that inspired me to make it.
Doing ladders right in GS isn't as straight forward as one might think.
