Need this game mechanics!
Hi outhere ,
As I am a newbie I want to ask you if someone could help me with my problem.
I want to spawn a road/path in 90 degree parts (like the streets of New York) so the actor has to move on the road/path. The actor will be moved by two buttons(90 degrees left and by the other button 90 degrees right). If the actor moves away from the road/path it will be game over
and when it collects stars that means 1 point and after he hits 20 point the game has to get faster and so on.
And I want the the gameplay is a infinitie game that means that the road will be spawned infinitie.
I hope you can send me a simple gamesalad project.(You will be remeberd in the credits of my game)
Hope you can help me out.
In this viedeo you can see the gamemechnics I would like:
Kind regards

This seems pretty similar, perhaps a good base. http://www.deepblueapps.com/temple-run-template/
Seems like you are asking for the game to be made for you and i don't think anyone here would build it.

Thanks champ @Lovejoy
I don't want the whole game I just want the mechanics with the spawned road!
So then @Lovejoy tell me how to make the game then??
What, and rob you of the experience of learning how to do it yourself. Slow down chief, take a look around in the forum watch a few youtube tutorials you can do it...
First, open gamesalad
Second, select new blank project
Third, change platform to iPad landscape or portrait
Fourth, when the pop up comes up just hit ok
Fifth, click on the scenes tab
Sixth, click on initial scene

A basic way of doing it would be to Spawn a tile in an offset direction from the last tile, throw in a random function so that after 2-8 tiles it changes the direction of the spawns. then build the rest of the functionality/game on top of that..
As to how to make GameSalad do that... It's not very difficult, and it's something you should be able to research and try out without too much difficulty.
The thing is though, I think you were missing Lovejoys point... That even as a beginner, you really should be thinking how to do things, and trying to implement them yourself, rather than just asking other people to do it for you. If you haven't even tried, then why should anyone waste their time to do it for you?
If you really can't understand it, or are too lazy to try, then the next option should be to pay for a template, and at least reward someone for doing all the work for you
Break the overall task down into smaller, easier to work out bits and tackle one problem at a time...
Hey guys thanks for giving me some motivation! @Chunkypixels @floatingwoo
A big sorry goes to @Lovejoy hope you accept my apology champ i am going through hard times right now!
This question goes to @Chunkypixels so the game as you saw in the video is feasible with Gamesalad??
It's certainly possible to make that type of game with GameSalad. But no one here is going to make an entire game for you for free.
Instead of asking for "the mechanics with the spawned road," which actually entails quite a bit of knowledge about GameSalad, start -- as others have suggested -- learning how to use the tool and then when you get stuck, ask specific questions after explaining how you tried to accomplish that piece of the puzzle.
It took me 60 hours to make my first game and it was less complex than that. GameSalad is a fantastic tool but you also need to have realistic expectations about how much time you may need to commit to it.

True @tatiang I have been at this for months and the best way to learn is trial and error then ask for help when you can go no further.
