Help Blurry Graphics

I have been using Fireworks for my images and sizing them properly for the button. Unfortunately they come very blurry on the iphone. They look fine in gamesalad. The writing, black on white looks particularly bad. It's strange since the display text from gamesalad looks fine but the imaged text in the PNG files look blurry.

What am I doing wrong?

Are just some blurry, or are the all blurry? Are you sure your graphics are sized at 72 pixels per inch?

Try this. Open the "Attributes" one of the actors that is blurry and under the "Graphics" drop down you will see "Horizontal Wrap" and "Vertical Wrap". Try changing them from "Stretched" to "Fixed".

I had Enable Resolution Independence turned on. It really screwed things up.

Thanks about your post though. What you suggested won't make the graphics stretch to the size of the button right?

Hi Amigoni -
I had this problem just yesterday! I was using Photoshop and fixed the problem by using the "Save for Web" instead of just saving. I'm not sure if Fireworks has a similar option, but if it does be sure to try that!
