Apple Game Rejections

Hello everyone!

I'm about to submit my game for review soon, but I was hoping that those of you who have your game on the app store could share their Apple game rejections. I just want to get an idea so I fix any problem now before I submit this game.

Thanks all!

Your game can be rejected for alot of reasons so it's kind of hard to say. My advice is to really test it thoroughly on the device it's suppose to run on. Also let others play it and see if they can find any glitches.

I suggest using GameSalad Viewer first, thats what I used to test my Universal Game on. And its a lot easier to set up than publishing your game to the App Store. :)

You can test using apples test flight. Much better view of what apple will see than the GS viewer. Very easy to use.
Apple has a quick help video too.

Like Dues sais, there are many reasons for rejection.
They rejected the iPhone version of my game, even though the iPad version had been on App Store for 6 months!
The reason? It wasn't entertaining enough..
Two days and one billion complaints later, they let it through.

    Some very common ones:

    1) iAP: If you have remove ads you need restore button or you will be rejected.
    2) Universal build: Letterboxing with black bars on the side will result in a rejection. Needs to look native on both device types.
    3) Bad graphics: Apple has some quality control - if it looks hella bad you will get rejected.
    4) Forgetting something: If you create a leaderboard but forget to check off the box in ITC.
    5) No splash image: Forgetting one on iPad/iPhone will have a black screen which apple will reject

Thank you, @gattoman, @OscarsCoding, @Dues for your response.
I will try using Apple Test Flight, and letting other people find glitches is a good idea. I'll just follow the guidelines and hope for the best.

@metamet , that was helpful. I'll make sure that I fix those things if they're wrong.
    @Reismehl, thank you!
