.88 update issue with game now

Was about to publish my game when the upgrade poped up so Updated gs and viewer on iPhone 3GS. Went to play my game just to see if there were any issues and all seemed well.

Got to the end of the level where a shield graphic comes in - it comes in as a white block - no graphic or animation that is set with it.
Okay, go to next level and whole background mountain image is white block-is this a new bug? Won't be able to try fixes till later but if any one has similar issues chime in.

No one is having issues with images showing as a white block after update? I have a feeling it's due to image length and will experiment once home.

I found that the 'missing images' bug still happens, which is disappointing

I gather QS that you upgraded yours and ran you game on it and all is well?

I think you have to be a bit clearer here, mate. If you're talking about the .8.8 viewer, I actually haven't got round to installing it.

I've got the latest GameSalad of course, and that's where I got the missing images bug...

Is that what you meant?

Okay it's what I thought it might be - it has to do with the 1024 restriction on image sizes - the images in question are longer than that and When I re-added one of the images, GS tells me that it's too large, do you wish to resize - I did and then it shows up during the game. Odd thing is I have other images (whole Backgrounds) that are larger than the ones it affected that show fine. I will make adjustments and all should be fine - long live GS.

And yes QS, I'm talking playing your game on the viewer via iphone. Big sigh of relief that it's relatively easy fix.
