Let me give a hint - it's going in the "music generation" section on the app store - there is no "object of the game" besides making sounds

Try moving around nearly everything with the mouse

This is really great. I am a musician and can see this being really fun. A couple of thoughts. Maybe have a play mode and a "serious" mode (obviously don't call it that!). In the serious mode have regular intervals marked off and allow me to drag multiple copies of the same sound to different intervals. That way I could have an outer right that serves as the hihat another ring I could drop the kick and third the snare etc. You could even have a snap to grid option so you could really lock it in. I know it is impossible in GS but it would be great if someday you could export a .mp3 file of the groove. As it is if I had a good groove I could use the headphone out jack and record it on my laptap and actually use it in my own music.

Just some thoughts. Overall I think it is really awesome!

One thing I wanted to resist doing was adding the dividing lines, to make it NOT the normal sequencing situation ;-) There are many choices for that ( I have 50 music apps on this iPad alone... And isn't that great? ;-)

I would like to make save ( this is possible, right? ) and wave export features ( probably not possible)

Also, I want to do a little better drag handling of the aliens ( they do stay put for 0.5 seconds before moving to allow them to be manually "played" without nudging) and have them be in a toolbox, drag able off the edge

Also note that the arrows control speed and direction of the beams,
And that Radarhead himself is movable from the center to wherever

Now updated to version 16 to fix the "speed arrow" breaking bug.

Am going to send to app store! Wish me luck.

Future updates are definitely planned, of course, adding more character sounds and features

Okay, now at V 17, instructions are better, a few more aliens provided

Have been trying to get it uploaded Apple for for 3 nights... :-( VERY frustrating process.
but "NEVER GIVE UP"!

Stay tuned for news and promo codes, ESPECIALLY for those who helped me figure this out ;-)

My brother and I played a couple musical jams using it as an instrument with guitars, synth etc.
Indeed it works - it's designed to be unusual, but you can really "find a groove" with it
(those uploaded to hear sooner or later)

More musical apps are on the way! I got a great idea yesterday morning at sunrise...

It may take a minute to get used to it, just try moving everything around

Also note that the aliens have a little delay in dragging them -
That's so you can tap them quickly to play like drums, without moving them
