Can't open Color Picker in Attributes List

Hi,

I am having issues with the Color Picker (button with default white color box) in Attributes list. Whenever I click the button, the Color Picker window does not pop up therefore not allowing me to pick custom color for my actors. The problem is also present in Display Text wherein Color Picker does not pop up upon clicking of the button.

This is greatly impeding my progress as I cannot display my game statistics in different colors other than white. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    No, that's weird. The color picker works fine for me...

    On the attributes side of things (If you mean in an actor)

    You have to pick each color individually and give it a number.
    Or you can control the alpha there

    Again this is only if you mean the attributes area in the actor.

    Yeah, in the actor, without clicking the drop down arrow, you will see that white box...the white box is basically the selected color. When you click it, it will open a small window with a color picker which you can use your mouse to select a color.

    Its that white box that is not working. When I click it, its borders highlight grey showing its been clicked but nothing happens. Same when I want to change color for Display Text behavior.

    Worst come worst, I will have to open photoshop side by side to get individual color numbers and key into the RGB attributes of color in GS.

    In the top menu bar, next to File and Edit, is Format.

    There is a 'Show Colors' menu item there that also pops open the color picker.

    Does that work?

    Even I haven't had that one and I seem to attract GS bugs like flies to sh... ...probably just the way I...anyway as that is a standard part of ya Mac have a look in another app and see if it is working there...textedit for instance

    Firemaplegames,

    I can compromise with not being able to color pick under actor's attributes list as i can play around with the RGB/A values manually. But I cant do so with Display Test as it doesn't allow manual entry of the same.

    does your color picker work in Apple textedit?

    I wonder if the palette is off-screen somehow?

    Can you make your monitor res really high and see if it is hiding?

    Dang!!! firemaplegames, yur a genius! LOL...you are right. I have a 20" lcd tv connected to my macbook which I haven't turned on in a while. The color picker has been opening up cross display all these while.
