My first game, Max Vector: Resolution should be submitted within a week or so. Thought you might like to see a video from an earlier version. Been a few tweaks since I made this vid
Any feedback is welcome... as long as it's good. LOL
Cheers, guys. as for framerate, just played inside gs itself. Choppy as settings in snaps pro reflect the awesome power of my 1.5ghz core solo!

Love the look of the game; that takes me back, as they say! Looks to be a faithful rendition of the style of those days; fun to play too. Good luck with sales!
As another official Max Vector Tester™ I can confirm that this is, indeed, awesome
Before you submit to the app store, let me have a look at your blurb for the game first if you can. I really want this one to be a hit for ya, as it's obviously a labour of love
Any room for a 'What's your vector, er, Vector?' joke
Thanks, I might check it out. I used a free one... but it was crap. To tell the truth, I think Snapz Pro will be fine... I had just left it on default settings

Max Vector: Resolution brings the true 8-bit arcade experience to your iPhone. iPad or iPod Touch. Featuring classic side-scrolling shoot'em up gameplay, hoards of merciless enemies and epic boss battles, Max Vector: Resolution is the ultimate in addictive retro gaming. Relive the days of classic systems such as the Atari 2600, Intellivision and Commodore 64, only this time with the addition of a few upgrades. This is 8-Bit as you've never seen or heard before!
Featuring a thumping chiptune soundtrack by 8 Bit Weapon.

This is 8-bit as you've never seen or heard before - this should be your lead-in, followed by the rest of your blurb.
Then have this:
Features: -Gorgeous 8-bit visuals -A thumping 8-bit soundtrack by 8 bit weapon (provide a url link) -5 levels if intense side-scrolling action -Boss battles -saves your hi-scores
etc etc
THEN have the 'how to play bit'
THEN have the intro blurb from the game
I think people want to know what they're getting immediately. If you catch their interest, they'll want to know how to play.
The 'intro' blurb is just additional info.
Use more paragraphs.
Make sure your pics are in landscape mode (I've seen too many done in portrait for landscape games - it's just annoying!)
Make sure all your pics are of gameplay. No-one cares what your bloody menus look like, no matter how much work you put into them or how much you like them!
And with that, I'm off to play your latest build! GOOD LUCK
So do I! Um.... my feet, that is... I want to be able to fund my next film. It's all well and good having all the contacts but there are only so many movies I can get them to work for free on! ;-)

As an official Max Vector Tester™, I can assure you that it animates and plays really smoothly on my iPhone 3GS.
An excellent, polished game!
