What kind of "baby" monitor do you all use?

Just out of curiosity... is there any form of analytics to check sales in real-time? I'm using Appannie, yet it obviously runs off of a schedule similar to Apples' own 24 hour deal.

Are there any other better solutions out there? I like AppAnnie, but wasn't sure if there were other ways to keep tabs on your little apps.

Motion sensors, mines, trip-wires and searchlights for the real-time stuff.

For general download data I use AppViz - I really like its layout and the way you can sort information.

    Graphs are pretty, too! :D

Appfigures is in my opinion the best one out. You have a 15 day trial I think but you can easily renew it by just making a different user with a different email address :) save some money haha, i already made 3 different accounts- that's 45 days all for free! :D

All of them use Apple's supplied data for individual sales. I think AppAnnie scrapes the world-wide app stores more than once a day for comments however.

I really like AppAnnie because you get world-wide comments in addition to all the other data. Plus, it's free (at least for now). It's still in beta.

I just found a cool free application Called MajikRank

you can see ranks of any apps and it is pulls adhoc so it is the lastest data.

Appfigures seems to be the most up to speed with rankings.
    Consistant every hour.

I'm gonna add some trip-mines to my shopping list! Thanks QS!

So am I to understand there's no way to get closer to real-time sales data? Rankings are the only thing that get updated more often?

Yea, that's because any program needs to get the data from iTunes connect and they release your report after 24 hours, but I think you can predict tomorrows sales by looking at your ranks :)

You lose all your old data though right? As an analyst at my last real job collecting long term data is priceless. Besides app figures is pretty cheap.

I have a boatload of apps in there and its only about 17 bucks.
And they gave me a free month for answering some questions on how to improve things!
They seemed pretty behind their product and they listen to what devs want.

I think that is important and why they have such a great service.

App Viz on my macbook, is brilliant, do the free demo, then pay the money for the full version (if your sales cover the cost)...

Then 'ITC Mobile' on my iphone...
