APK not zipaligned.

in iPhone and Android Publishing

I am trying to publish to android via windows. When I submit my apk to the adroind developer console it wont accept it saying it has not been zip aligned yet. Not sure if it matters but when I sign the apk, the zipalign does not show up with my other 2 publishing tools, I have to manually show it the path everytime (SDK>Tools>Zipalign).
I have updated all the packages in the SDK manager, and check for any updates in eclipse.
And ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    i recall this being a java issue, i cant remember exactly, but either update your java to the latest or downgrade it to one of the 1.6 versions
