Steam which creator do I use?

Regardless of how hard it is to get a game on steam. Do I program my game as a mac game or windows 8...ect ect... is there a way to export my game to even be able to submit it to steam in the first place? Does gamesalad support that or is it only creating phone games.

windows executables are not currently supported, only mac and android/ios devices.
They did mention windows executables are in the works, maybe in v.15?

Yeah 15.0 is supposed to have .exe support

I think even with .exe support you need to use Steamworks to some extent to get it onto steam, and we havent heard how that's gonna work with 15.0 or if were on our own there.
