Rapid mouse movement causes actor to disappear

I have an actor that rotates left and right as the mouse moves left or right. It works very well until I do a very rapid swap of the mouse from one direction to another, in which case the actor just disappears off the screen. Has anybody run into the same problem and is there any solution to it?
