Leaving The Forum..

Well, because of this UN-MODERATED forum, I am leaving. Not to mention I see questions ASKED AND NOT A SINGLE ANSWER, let alone when someone DOES answer, they don't even provide a link to a GS article, just telling the ask-er "yes, you can do this." (Leaving the ask-er stumped.)

    Seeing as you were invited to leave (thanks peach!), I'm certain you will not be missed... ;-)

    Edit: Not a helpful community?!? I run the risk of losing my "real" job daily cuz I'm out there trying (and failing at times...lol) to help people!

    After your spam post I can't say I'm sad to see you go...

    this is a great community with good people, we try, buy, help and feedback on each others projects and trying to earn a quick buck by taking advantage of us is not on...

    we were happy to let the 'button pack' thing go if you took part in the community but clearly you would rather throw your rattle out of the pram!

    This forum has a fantastic reputation for being friendly and helpful. Let's not mar that, eh?

    Look at the maturity of his posts (as in, lack of). The guy's obviously a kid. He screwed up. Let it go.

    I think people have overreacted. Others have done far worse and not got half the abuse.

    @Barkbark - Thanks for the acknowledgment! :D I will never get tired of people who appreciate my work ;)

    @WiiMarioMoron - This community is insanely helpful. I LOVE it here. I'm up at 6 AM hanging out, reading new posts, because I genuinely love so many people here! You're the one missing out, not us.

    @Chosen - Haha, feeling the love. <3 Thanks. I always worry I might come across as a bit of a "meanie"; but I love our community here and I really hate it when people mess up the atmosphere.

    @QS - You know how much I think of you, but to be fair he did have a chance to apologize and contribute, he just chose to use that chance to QQ. (For those non gamers, QQ = cry/whine.) Then he responded to criticism of his trying to get a buck out of us by this thread about his leaving.

    GS is a great and friendly community, but to keep it that way we really do need self serving people to leave.

    If nothing else, POSTS IN ALL CAPS GIVE ME A HEADACHE AND MAKE ME ANGREH. YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGREH. ;)

    I know he's probably only a kid - and certainly I think that being a kid, if he were to apologize to the community he'd be given another shot here; we are, after all, a great bunch :)

    However even if he is a kid, he needs to do something positive - not just continue whinging, spamming and the like.

    It's like you with Gary - when he constantly screams at you to let him wear his scuba gear outside, you don't let him - but when he calms down and behaves himself, you might just say yes.
