Sequenced Files?

Is it something I'm doing, or does GameSalad NOT import sequenced files (you know, filename001, filename002, etc) IN sequence? I've been having to put them into a Animation behavior one by one --by hand, ugh-- to get them to animate correctly... Am I missing a step somewhere?

Nope, that's how it works right now.

In the past I have managed to drop 100+ images into an animate 'behavior' ok. The fact that you then can't read the file names is just what you would expect. At least a quick double click brings them up in trusty old preview so you can check credentials..

Thanks for your response! Glad to know it's not just something I was doing, but yikes, that sure seems like a BIG thing for the GameSalad development people to have put on a back burner. I really like this program, but I would think something like importing sequential files IN SEQUENCE would be a priority since GameSalad doesn't accept movie files and all animation has to be done with individual images.

You can use quicktime to break up a movie file into sequenced images. I've done it for some animations and it works a treat :D

I've not found this to be much of a problem and I have well over 200 separate animation images. I just shift select each group and drag them into the animation rules. Pretty quick and straight forward. Each animation sequence resides in its own folder on my computer so its easy.
