Automatic Provisioning is Here!

With the release of Xcode 3.2.3 and iOS 4 the nightmare that some folks were having with installing apps on there idevices could finally be over. This should really help people with getting the viewer onto their machines. I just plugged in a brand new ipad fired up Xcode organizer and said yes to 'use this device for development' entered my dev details and that was it!! I then simply downloaded the ipad GS viewer opened the project and built straight to my ipad. I didn't visit the portal at all, I didn't have to enter my new UDID! I didn't do anything with bundle ids or app ids - magic. All the portal stuff was done automatically it seems.

anyway it's explained much better by this chap here

Apple's next goal should be: Wireless Testing for Xcode, just like with GameSalad testing.

How about foam sleeves like everyone used in the mid 90's for their cans of soda.

    ....oh back on topic...

    That sounds rad.
