Keys wont work?

So, I set up my actor on a completely default stage, to test out Move and Animate at once. I set them both to the right arrow key, but my actor wont do either! It works when I set it to Touch, just not Key. Help?

Can you post a link to a screenshot of your rules?

Sure-- one second.
I have Windows 7.... hopefully this works.
Sorry. Won't work..... But I double checked everything, and it should be working. The strange thing is it actually does work half the time, but just doesn't move at all the other half.
To post a screenshot as a non-pro member of the forums, you'll need to upload it to a file-sharing site such as Dropbox or MediaFire and then post the link here.

That seems pretty straightforward. Have you tried something like a Display Text when the arrow key is down to see if it's triggering the rule but just not moving?
And if you haven't seen this yet, it might prove helpful: http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/59247/windows-creator-first-stop-if-you-experience-unexpected-behaviours/p1.

Haha thanks! I'll check it out!
@OrangeAlligator - can you try one thing? Click with the mouse on the game preview then try the keys and see if your actor moves.
I have noticed on my PC that unless I initially click the mouse inside the preview - to 'focus' the preview - then my key presses are ignored.
I'm guessing that the preview window/frame isn't being 'focussed' correctly when it's being created and it needs that extra click to tell it that we are using it now and not other elements in GS.
Thanks! I'll try that out!
Yaaay it worked! I was getting worried...
