What the hell? I was working on my game and I saved it..I knew something was wrong because it took forever to save...Now every scene is blank...

Is there a way to fix this? Right now i'm going to work off of a time machine back up...but that's an hour old....

This happened to me (and has done a few times).

Usually closing and re-opening the file will sort it out.

If not, open up the previous version you have saved, and double click on one of your images. It should open up in Preview on your Mac.

Then find its location (you can do this by selecting 'save as' in Preview - it'll show where it is).

    Close down the project.

Then open up your latest project with your missing images. Delete all the images from the project.

Go to the location you found on your mac earlier and select all the images. Drag them into your project.

Close the project and re-open it.

You'll find any screenshots you took of the levels are still missing, and you'll have to take new ones if it bothers you. Not that important though.

The important bit is that all your actors will have their images back.

    Hope that's clear and helps.

Thanks quantum. I just ended up working from the time machine save. Lost work time, but it's better than nothing.

Did you drag and drop a code from another project into it? Or copy/paste?

I copy paste scenes I plan to reuse and have never had an issue. But I don't think I did that this time it messed up.

Yep, just like he said, I did this on a game I had been working on for 3 days straight, and had to start all over.

Maybe that's a feature that should be added. Not necessarily the copy and paste from other projects. But once you save a set of personal behaviors, then you should be able to reuse them within any project you worked on.

    Actually, that's not strictly true...

I copy and paste stuff from other projects all the time with no problems.

I'd suggest you save your main project before you do this, just to be safe. Then if anything gets corrupted after the C&P you just shut it down without saving.

What *will* happen is that any variables in one project that aren't in your main project will be 'lost' - you'll have to fill them in manually.

    Hope that helps,
