    Also you could have an animation of the water breaking around the mines like a tree in a river and the water ripples around the tree and a light splash on the land here and there

    I remember this game like it was yesterday. I was a C-64 and Amiga owner and used to program in Basic and loved that game. In fact, I might totally re-think my game because there are some nice simple details (Like the bullets raining down from ships way out in the distance) which
    would work nicely w/my game.....Thx alot!
