Marketplace credit required?

Are we required to give credit in our games to images/animations purchased through the GS Marketplace? I can't seem to find details on this anywhere so hoping someone can confirm.

My guess would be that you're not required to. You might want to check the terms of service:

thanks @tatiang, i checked the terms of service before but didn't find anything saying that we need to give credit. My assumption is that we don't need to as well since neither GS nor the artists seem to have stated this, but wanted to be safe

I would agree with you. Unless it's clearly stated, the fact that you purchased the asset from the GameSalad Marketplace with the intention of using it in a GameSalad game means that you should be fine without attribution.

I take it as an asset provider, that my work inside other peoples work will remain anonymous, as it is sold royalty free so there is no legal reason to know what it is being used for.
(Though a little mention from time to time would be nice .)
As others have said, unless they specifically tell you otherwise, no credit is required.
(Demanding credit be given would significantly reduce the value of what they were selling, so that should be reflected in the price. Most sellers would rather money to credit, I'm assuming.)
