Hello GS and Happy New Year! It's 2015 and I think and feel the best way to start off the new year is to call out a GS user. I don't usually do this unless the person who is being called out deserves it and basically does it to them self and so others can see and not be scammed by them!
So todays GS user is @Stop Sign Studios Inc.,
I am truly confused and no offense but you seem extremely sketchy. Please help me and the many others who are thinking the same thing understand. Please tell me how you have been with GS for "7 years" and one, your account says that you just joined GS last month (December) and also, it seems that a lot of your post, such as this one, you are asking basic questions.
Also, in other posts you are offering to work on apps for people and saying your a GS programmer for hire. Such as your post below. Also in you post @Braydon_SFX mentioned that it may help to post some projects that you have done and explained why. You stated you would do that but still nothing. How can you offer such things when you are still learning basic things in GS and can't find the answers on your own with simple searches as the answers you are looking for can be easily found.

In your post below where you are saying that you have been with GS for 7 years and your asking people for their "Good Game Ideas" because you can't think of any, in your so called 7+ years of game development, have you ever seen someone just tell people their game ideas let alone if they think they are good. So, then you post a GS arcade game you made. For "7 years" of experience and offering to be hired, this is not good quality stuff nor would it even want to make me even think about hiring you.

I had to call you out because I am getting a little tired of seeing you trying to offer services and help others when you don't have the knowledge to do so nor the quality of work to do so either. It shows with how you have presented your self and unfortunately you have left a bad taste in my mouth as I am sure you have done or are doing to others.
I don't mind seeing new people asking questions and helping point them inn the right direction when I can but when you go around saying you have been here for "7 years" and especially trying to offer your services and het paid hourly, but you have nothing to show for it and if that egg game you made is a pice of work you are showcasing as what you can do then it's not looking good for you.
So stop lying and trying to seem like you know what your doing because obviously you don't by your posts. Some times people don't think ahead and down the road, sometimes sooner rather than later they end up shooting themselves in the foot and that is what you have done!
As I stated in the very beginning of this post, I don't really ever call people out unless they deserve it and do it to them self and for the New Year, you were that lucky winner. Sorry if I hurt your feeling or you think I'm being mean or what ever else you may think but you did it to your self so the one you should be mad at is yourself and others are thinking the same exact thing as well.

I agree with what you're saying, @KillerPenguinStudios, at least to a degree. It's true that Stop Sign has offered his services on the forums. It's true that he claims that he has used GS for 7 or so years. It's true that he has asked extremely simple questions. You called him out in his thread, I do not feel this is appropriate to call him out in a separate specific thread. Honestly we know little about this guy. For all we know, he could be 13 years old. That may be why he hasn't been allowed on the forums, explaining his absence these last 7 years, as well as his inexperience with Creator.
I'm not going to go into much else, but hopefully you see my point. I would most likely warn people from using his services (like you have done) and I would do it with a brief post in his thread. I would not create an entire thread to stir the pot because that is what this is going to do and honestly I wouldn't be surprised if this thread get's closed because of that.
Like I said, I agree with you to a point, but a simple post in his thread would have done the trick.

I understand what you are saying @Braydon_SFX but basically I was just backing up what I was saying with evidence and don't want people getting scammed out of their money because someone doesn't or can't deliver or they just run off with their money. We have seen this happen way too often and I wanted to especially give reasons for new GS users to get an idea on what to look out for based on what others post but try offering at the same time.
I would have been less likely to post something like this but when it comes to people offering services and getting paid, and they have nothing to show for it and it's obvious by their own posts that they would not be able to handle such things, then others need to be warned and why. Again, I see your point but I did this for the reason stated above and to hopefully lessen others trying to do the same thing.

I see nothing wrong with this thread, @KillerPenguinStudios is just telling it how it is. Im sure many users agree with him. @Braydon_SFX Doesn't matter if he is 13 or 30, a shady person is a shady person, regardless of age.

I agree with you, and it wasn't my intention to suggest that this user should be disregarded in any way. @KillerPenguinStudios post was widely based upon the absence and inexperienced skill that this user has. I was merely trying to suggest that we barely know anything about this user. Could it be that he is 30? Of course. Could it be that he's 13 (or a young age)? Sure thing. My bet is on the latter and I could be wrong. People should be aware of these points @KillerPenguinStudios brings up, granted, but I believe that there could have been a better (and perhaps more subtle) way to provide this information. : )

Leave it to the Mods or GS staff for these issues when there are no facts involved
Not a waste of time, there are plenty of people with a lower mental capacity that fall for such things. I wouldn't of made my riches back in the day if everyone was smart.

So let me get this right. We have someone posing as an .Inc and offering 'professional' Services to the site community right? Then when folks here that are industry, work at or own studios (be it indie or commercial) and call them out, we are the bad guys?
You see a turd and it is sitting in the room and no one else is pointing out that the turd is a turd and then that turd eventually sells someone some pooh. You cool with that? I'm not. It's about being serious about what you are doing. Cut the pooh, you cut the BS.

Obviously you don't get the point or see all the individuals that get scammed by others. Yes it may seem obvious to others but there are some that just get captured by someone offering services for cheap. Also, they may not have seen the other posts by the individual and put 2 and 2 together. To think everyone should just get it and know is ignorant on your part. It is simply helping others that have either not been around long, aren't familiar with what a scam may look like in this form, a reminder of the good old saying, "If it seems too good to be true than it most likely is". Also, it helps people know and learn what to look for. There have been many times that I have come across someone that was scammed and there were red flags but they simply missed them. Don't assume that everyone knows. By PMing the person, what does that do. NOTHING. That is a waste of time and it does nothing for those who may have had an interest in the offered services.
Again, just because it seems obvious to you doesn't mean it's obvious or as clear to them.
Obviously you don't get it and get the point of the thread and should read my above comment and re-read the original post and understand it and why it was brought up. It should be understood that these things happen often and more and more recently.
