Working on an Asus T100
This is a dual tablet/pc device that obviously has a touch screen. It has a full version of windows. When I am testing my game in the previewer, I cannot seem to get movement of my character via touch to happen at all in a smooth manner when everything else is running. I have roughly 25 characters in the scene. A lot of them are moving, but I'm doing it in a way so that I can keep physics "move" unchecked.
If I attempt to use the mouse as much as possible, it seems like it could work fine. It's hard to tell with all the rules in place, because the game is more challenging using the mouse.
So, I guess my question is this. How accurate is my touch screen pc portraying the touch capabilities? Hopefully your answer is not very accurately, because as it stands it seems near impossible to build anything.

@mowbentwood, "not very accurately" would be my response.
Unfortunately these mobile aimed devices are usually quite slow (CPU wise). This makes CPU intensive programs like Windows GS very unresponsive.
I had tested and returned my T100 model because I found that, apart from the metro interface, touch was a nightmare in actual applications.

Good to know, it was really discouraging me from continuing on in the game I was making.
I love the T100. It works like a charm for everything I do, except this.
