Actor moves left on touch only

Hello,
I have been using game salad for about a month and I've ran into a problem with my programming. I have tried programming my actor to follow the touch sequence as if someone is clicking and dragging it on the x axis but in preview as soon as I touch my actor moves to the left of the screen. How do I program it to do the right thing and follow touch sequence on the x axis?
