Dule windows gamesalad open at once

Hi i have been making apps for about a year now and i have been trying to open a template and the game i am working on at the same time but it just closes out of my game when i try to open the template. i have read a lot of other froums about this and they all say you can't but they were all about prevues version i am using gamesalad 0.10.5 for windows i have a feeling 11 is going to come out soon. but for now i have 10.5. i found a video on how to open two at once but when i when to down load it. my sequrity sofware said it was not good/trustible.
what i a trying to ask is, IS there another program or something like it i can open two at once with. here is the video
