GameSalad Capabilities Check

I'm working on designing some games and need to make sure GameSalad is capable of doing what's needed before committing to using it.

I know it can do multiplayer through the invite systems provided by marketplaces but can GameSalad also be set to use a cross platform third party hosting service for game matches?

Is GameSalad capable of doing a clan system like found in MMO games?

Does it allow for customization options like allowing for the creation of switchable color schemes or skins?

Can external leaderboards be linked to the game allowing people to see their individual and clan rankings?

Can moving interactive terrain be created like a see saw that shifts when a character walks across the top to the side that is tilted up?

Can matching word games be made that involve moving letter titles?

Is there any limit to the level of 2D effects it can do? Can it do particle and light effects for explosions?

The list for Pro mentions iOS in app purchases. Does GameSalad allow for in app purchases on other platforms like Android, Windows phone, and such?

Does GameSalad allow for Steam integration on PC and Mac and linking to the Steam Marketplace and Workshop?

Reading your list of requirements, you're looking at a very substantial game with a lot of features GameSalad can do or probably do, but are not going to be easy. At all. You will probably get better results making the game from scratch in Xcode.

Most of the networking features you are mentioning would be possible but would require a lot of work writing a suitable server.

If you made this game it would be the most ambitious game made in GameSalad so far.

Yes.

There will be a performance wall you'll hit. Particle effects and light effects yes, to an extent.
