New BELIEVE

Hello GS,

A many as you know I started BELIEVE a few years back to make app for children with cancer. I never did get anyone to sign up. I recently visited the Children Hospital Of Philadelphia and I got thinking about BELIEVE again. So I thought I would make a whole website for BELIEVE. The site provides much more info then my page on my Big Thinkin' Apps website. I wanted to share it with you to see how you like it and if you think there should be anything different on there.

Glad to hear you're still working on this. One suggestion: I can imagine it might be overwhelming for a child with cancer to design an entire app from scratch. I know you're the developer and would guide that process but seeing a blank template might be hard for some young people to know where to begin. How about providing a few sample ideas or apps that people could choose from along with a "build your own" template like you have on the site? That way someone who really wants an app built but doesn't know where to begin can choose an existing design and maybe modify it a bit with your help.

Wow. I got to say that this is just a wounderful idea. I get all warm inside. Hopefully you get kids to sign up.

Also, is this whole process for free? Are you then selling these apps? If so, who gets what? Or are you going for F2P?

I love the idea and totally think what you are saying is true. I am not sure what I should have for sample ideas and how I should set them up. Any ideas?

Thanks, the whole thing is indeed free. I wish I could make them paid then send the money to make a wish or something like that but then it would be to hard to work all that out. I am not sure what F2P is?

OK, yeah, I understand it being too much work. F2P = free to play.

You might want to get that info on your site. I mean that its free to make his/her idea into an app. I can imagen that many people think that it would cost alot to have someone turn your ideas into an app. Just an idea.

What you are trying to do is wonderful, but this is a huge task to take on. You need to have a business plan in mind and set some realistic goals. I am in no way trying to discourage you, maybe try to find an adult family member help you set this up. Best of luck to you.

Thanks so much for sharing this with me. My parents are very surrportive and have been helping me with this. I do agree about how big this task is! I want to take it one step at a time and see how things go.

And lastly, you're young right? Dude, you're going to do huge things, so if this idea of yours, for some reason doesn't come to life in a couple of month or so, dont give up! You have these cool ideas and you're already making them happen! You're going places, man.
