I did a clean install of Yosemite. I don't find so much that it's slow as that it slows down much quicker than it used to. Previously I had to restart GameSalad every 20-30 minutes, otherwise it would become unusably slow (30-60 seconds to go into or out of an actor etc.). Now it's more like 5-10 mins. But if i quit and relaunch it regularly, or as soon as it starts to slow down, it's okay.

ForumNinja CodeWizard Will the new cross platform creator support games made by the current GS creator? Would hate to start from scratch
I actually hope it doesn't for a few reasons:
it frees them up to make the best creator they can without having to support some old hacked together methods.
any project you attempt to import is probably going to have so much broken it won't be worth it.
as a developer, I'm always afraid of any major change during a development process. I'd rather wrap up my game with the current creator and work fresh with the new one.
@jonmulcahy I guess that's true, I think the current creator is robust enough to do all of the essential things, but for a game with a ton of code it would be a daunting task to have to to recreate everything just to utilize a new feature like joints etc. or even just keep up with simple iOS updates that inevitably cause little bugs here and there

Can't wait to share what we've been working on, folks. We're starting some limited alpha testing with a select group soon. Once that pans out we'll open it up to more folks. Can't wait!

I imagine they would support the old creator for a while so people can finish their projects currently in progress. You can't always have it all. Time to move forward.

Thanks @Armelline . So then you are experiencing the same thing. Yosemite works fine for me too, for about 5-10mins. Then I have to shut it down and restart it... for the next 5-10. I didn't notice this issue in Mavericks... even after a much longer period. Ok, that makes more sense to me. So the GS QA is maybe not playing with it long enough, and their initial tests passed. I'll just revert back to Mavericks.
Please, if you are working on the cross-platform, do something for the canvas area. It needs a grid, zoom, wider visible area.
Also, the ability to write some code would be appreciated

Hello, just wondering if it is possible that the Windows 12 release will happen prior to November 6th?
Not likely, @wynteam
