Cursor for Movement

Hey, how can I add a Cursor like a cursor from a xbox controller (LS or RS) to my game like this controller: http://arcade.gamesalad.com/games/124957 ?

Do anyone know a tutorial for this, because I can move my player only in 8 axes with 8 arrows?
