moving an actor left,right. i know sounds nooby lol

soo ive tried accelerator and the actor keeps moving to the left or right. i would need to learn how to get the actor to stop, rather then just keep drifting off the scene

ive also tried the motion linear v change attribute, this one almost works. only problem is if you take your finger off the right or left arrow keeys the actor stops dead mid air/motion.

the template platformer has a blue dude that works perfect. it uses accelerate, and the actor doesnt keep moving.

anyone know a good youtube video i can check to solve this basic problem.

hey thank you, my actor was stopping in mid air when i tried to change direction(left,right) the change was interrupted i guess. putting the space bar up together with the left and right arrow keys allows me to change direction,without stopping/being interrupted, by holding down the space bar during the jump. thank you very much. its really the smallest thing haha
