I have a developers account for apple but I don't have the pro version of gamesalad. if you use xcode to publish apps, you get money from the ads that appear in your app. I was wondering if I would still get that money if I used gamesalad free version to upload the games?
thanks for your help in advance

Hi, You can't put ads into your game without getting the pro version of Gamesalad. But if you are a student you can get a discount at Studica.com
@stahboy
thanks for the reply is there any free way I can do this(like another software) and get money off of it
I am a high school student and don't have enough money to buy anything right now also I need a way to do it on windows
thanks
On Windows? That's a bit more complex.
Basically, make a game that people will be willing to buy for money and publish it using Mac in Cloud. You still need Xcode and all that to manage Distribution Certificates and all, even if using GS.
Other option, make your game, publish in on Amazon. That should be possible for free at the moment. Once the game is published, you can get one month of PRO for free as part of the Amazon promotion, and then use the PRO functionality to publish on iOS.

Nice tip you got there! If only you posted this earlier, I could have not get GS PRO! Well Thank You!
remember that all games published with the free version have ads. so if you plan on selling your game, it's best to go pro, people don't like paying for something and seeing ads.

You can still do it anyhow, for every game published to Amazon you will get an extra month on top of what you have right now! Talk about sweet!
Even the Amazon ones? I thought there was currently an exception on that. Anyway, if you publish on Amazon and get the free month, then you can update the app with an ad-free version right after.
good point, I'm not sure, i forgot that free users can publish to amazon
your probably ok on amazon

Be aware that while we've been unofficially continuing the Amazon promotion, it's officially over and we can discontinue it at any time.
