Does anyone know where I can find any non game templates which can be brought or are free. Have looked around for a while but can't seem to find any!

Are you looking for anything specific?
(BTW, you can bring all your templates for free, nobody will judge. )
"non-game" covers a wide area, like @pHghost says, can you be more specific?

What kind of non-game templates are you looking for? I have a recipe template created with GameSalad.
Im looking for a "Game guide style template". With simple sections pages to put text which scroll vertically.
If I were going to publish a 'book' style app, I'd use iBooks Author. But of course that is only good for iDevices.

Just text, or images as well? iPhone, iPad, Universal?
iPhone and iPad. With Images and text. I just feel an app will sell better than a book as a game guide.
That's what I was afraid of. The problem here is that working with text in GS is far from ideal.
Text reflow (to support different screen sizes, devices and dynamically place pictures into text) is non-existent in GS.
In this case I would suggest looking elsewhere for your solution.
Plus Amazon have options, their KDP process and their more recent Kindle Kid's creator software. Personally I still use GS to create interactive books.
@JasperzHD if it is just a book then apple will reject it if you submit as an app....it has happened to me.....there has to be some kind of play element
As I mentioned in our PM exchange, you're going to struggle to do what you want in GameSalad without a significant investment of time. And what @pHghost says about text in GameSalad is sadly very true. It's horrendous.
etc. etc.
I have no experience of them, but perhaps something like one of these would better suit you:

There are many others.
If you're good with web development there are several ways to leverage that, too.
