Making a personalized project and seeking advice on my chances.

I'm planning to create a personalized iOS app for a client that is very specific software tool and of not of real use to the general public beside my client and their clients. Its not confidential.
I'm just being cautious whether or not to accept the project if this type of direction is something Apple are very likely to refuse.
Anyone have any advice if they have done similar ? I'm happy going in with some risk

They'll only refuse it if it's obviously nothing more than an ad for a company.
