unable to login to gamecircle...

in iPhone and Android Publishing

Hi everyone! Just joined and need some help please? I have just installed Skylanders Cloud Patrol on my Samsung Tab 3 and can run the game fine, the problem is when I start/load the game I get a message saying Gamecircle unavailable verify I am connected to the internet (yes I am - virgin 100mb wifi). I've tried looking for and creating a gamecircle account but it asks for development and business details which I dont have..... am I doing something wrong or is this something I have to do? (I do have a normal amazon account if this is any help!)
