Wish factor indeed. Games are very unlikely to happen on Apple Watch, definitely to start with. While Apple said fairly little at the event, here is some info from their website, saying what types of apps WatchKit is going to support:
A brand-new platform for developers.
>
With its powerful technologies and placement on the wrist, Apple Watch opens up exciting opportunities for apps. Using a new set of tools called WatchKit, developers will be able to easily create experiences designed specifically for Apple Watch.
>
Glances. WatchKit apps can incorporate Glances. Simply by swiping up from your watch face, you’ll be able to see the latest news and sports scores, travel itineraries, or the next step of your favorite recipe.
>
Actionable Notifications. You can choose to have third-party app notifications show up on your Apple Watch. Notifications built with WatchKit can go even further by allowing you to take action or respond right from your wrist.
>
WatchKit Apps. Soon your favorite apps will feature controls and interactions unique to Apple Watch, enabling you to enjoy them in dynamic new ways. And put them to even greater use.
Pretty much all of those are pushing data or providing interaction with existing iPhone apps. And that's about it.
Besides GS being photoshopped in, the screenshot is when they were talking about iPhone, not the watch. This is merely creating hopes for something unlikely to happen (soon, or at all).
Based on all the data available, games are not happening on the Apple Watch. Until Apple says otherwise, don't have high hopes.

That would be awesome but as the Guru said... very doubtful
lol
Doubt it. They sent it to major app developers. Not major sdk developers.
I havnt watched the apple event video yet. Is I watch even planned to have an App Store if apps or will it be closed like the Apple TV?
Lol. Just based on the wish factor...I made a 320x320 touch slots game. Obviously there isn't a lot to it but it was fun to make it...
