Anyone know a good site where I can start developing my own art for my upcoming game?

The choice between Photoshop and Illustrator really depends on the type of art you want to produce. The images of one are not fundamentally better than the other. Some types of image are impossible to create in Photoshop, and some are impossible to create in Illustrator.Illustrator's images are vectorial ( if zoommed it doesn't show the big square of color), on the contrary photoshop's images are raster( if zoommed it show the bigsquare of color) , therefore ACCORDING TO ME illustrator's images are better than photoshop's images.
But we aren't here to make a discussion between photoshop or illustrator.
The choice is of @TDForever

I suggest you, to download photoshop
Photoshop
I assume he is talking about the method of downloading an old version of Photoshop that Adobe made free when they turned off the activation servers for it. (Kinda.)

probably I expressed myself badly, I advised him to download photoshop, since it has a trial version! I have photoshop, why was given to me by a friend!
Yeah, 'Kinda' You actually needed to have bought a copy of Photoshop first, the offer was for owners of Photoshop, people who had paid for the product but had not currently go it installed - but it was widely (and wrongly) reported as Adobe giving away a copy (albeit an old copy) of their flagship product.
It seemed like an odd suggestion, to "download photoshop on youtube there are many method to get it free", Youtube seems like an odd place to go for a trial version of Adobe software, I'd suggest looking for a trial version on the Adobe site rather than a free version on Youtube.
Anyhow, it's not my place to police the internet, apologies if I misunderstood
I mistake the best program for the game designing is adobe illustrator his images are better than photoshop's images

Maybe I should get both, Photoshop and Illustrator? or perhaps try one and if I don't like it try out the other one?
Photoshop is infinitely more useful (in my opinion at least), Illustrator is great, but is mostly limited to a certain style of Illustration (very graphic), who knows maybe that might suit you ?
The idea that one produces rasterised images and one produces (resolution independent) vector images is largely irrelevant as everything needs to be rasterised before importing into GameSalad anyway, so one will not produce better quality than the other.
You can do what Photoshop and Illustrator can do with free software if you are looking to save some money, Adobe's software is pretty expensive, although you can often find older copies of both Photoshop and Illustrator on ebay for much more reasonable prices.
With Adobe's Creative Cloud subscription service, which is only something like $25 a month if you're a student, you get Photoshop, Illustrator and pretty much everything else they make (desktop publishing, web design, photo management, animation, video editing etc.)
That way you don't have to choose, and it doesn't need to cost you thousands of dollars. It's staggeringly good value.

@TDForever -- if you are on a Mac, I recommend looking into Pixelmator. It is much cheaper than Photoshop, but can do a big part of what Photoshop can, definitely from the perspective of making game art. It also has some basic vector abilities. I use it all the time.
Wow that actually sounds very convenient I think i'll try that at least for a couple of months
I think I should do the trial first though so I don't end up wasting my paid time figuring out how to work either program
You can also use Gimp is a good graphic program and a valid free alternative to photoshop.
