Tutor / Mentor gamesalad course

I am on my way through making my first app trying to learn game salad and I was thinking is there a better way??

It seems a common way of learning game salad is reading the getting started docs, watching videos, trial and error and following the forums.

Too be 20 again where I could spend hours at a time making games........... But Im an older professional with a young family and can't do that anymore.

So this was what I am thinking bout........ A experienced veteran who could put together lessons. Short formal lessons. Willing to do a five minute videos for demonstration. An assignment...........question and answers......

Obejective:

Video demonstration:
Summary:
Assigment:

Goal 1) learn gamesalad and make some apps
Goal 2) we would have a course for gamesalad we could ourselves make into an app or offer to others.

So perhaps many years of university has moulded my thinking and learning process?? Perhaps younger people would have no interest? Waste of time?

Any thoughts?

    Hi there,

I understand - time is limited. However, have you looked at our various video tutorials over at GSHelper.com? We have over 200 video tutorials and project files for you to download and learn from. I often tell people not only to watch the videos, but to follow along in GameSalad and to experiment after the video is over. There's no better way to learn than to follow along and then see if you can replicate what you just saw/did, and improvising/experimenting.
