Good Evening,

Before I will go to Junior Year in High School, I decided to spend my Summer making an app using Gamesalad. It's called "The Block! and it will soon be released on the App Store. I love app development and created previous apps too. One is called Viral Pop Quiz and another is Star Slash. I made posts about it on Gamesalad Forums.

I find it amazing that so little high schoolers decide to make apps. Gamesalad is so easy to use and it is such a rewarding experience to upload it to the store. Anyways, here is more info about the app I made.

THE BLOCK!

Here is the description:

The purpose of the game is to climb the blocks and reach the endpoint. Remember to charge your player by reaching the battery. Use the blocks to climb your way up.

And a video:

I made a website that has more info about me if your interested: www.mishalavva.com

I love the Gamesalad Community and hope that your games and apps go well. I would love to chat with any of you. I know there are some teenage app developers out there that use Gamesalad.

I'm going to provide a link to The Block! when it will be approved by Apple.

Very inspirational talk by Nick D'Alosio, who sold his app Snuggly to Yahoo when he was 18 for forty million dollars. As he said, there are no age constraints for app development and entrepreneurship. Tools like Gamesalad allow people to create anything.

I'll be interested to download your game man. I attempted to start app developing the summer before my junior year.. it seemed really daunting and I quit. This was in 2012. Picked it back up at the end of my senior year and now I have two apps out. One from a template I built upon and the other I made from scratch. Revenue around 20$ in my first month of having apps on the app stores. Not really good at all but it's definitely interesting to see how your work translates into cash.

Best of luck to you. Honestly advertising and downloads is the hardest part. So once your game is approved.. feel accomplished but don't feel done with that game by any means! Be prepared to put in some work to spread it and update whatever may be needed or add new features. It's all fun work though!

Wow! Where are you all from and what apps have you made?

It sounds like a cool concept and I like some of the design, but I'm having a really difficult time understanding what to do and how to do it by watching the video.

What does tapping the screen do? How does the ball move (does it cling to walls)?

Sorry if this is obvious, I'm just curious :)

PS - consider tweaking the game so people don't have these questions after watching a video of gameplay.

    Good luck with downloads!

@Adrenaline‌, you move the ball by tapping on the desired direction of the screen. The farther away you tap from the ball, the faster it will go.

Here are directions of the UI:
