File newer than Creator

Hey everybody,
I'm new to game salad and I just bought some back rounds and characters for the first time off of the market place on game salad.com. I had to adjust the file format so I could upload them into game salad after i downloaded them, which I was having problems with. The original format that it came in was gszip. So I tried changing the formate to zip but that didn't work. I finally tried .gsproj and was able to locate my files finally through game salad however whenever I tried to bring it into Game salad it self. It always says, File is newer than creator. So I re-downloaded game salad but it didn't change anything. I still can't bring my files into game salad. It just keeps saying my game salad creator is older than the files. I don't know what to do. If anybody knows what to do or can help me in some way that would be great!

If you bought a game template, many of them are created in Mac - 90% of people here are on the Mac - and the latest Mac version is version 11, not 10.5 like the PC version.
That means, PC can't load it - NORMALLY.
I DO know a workaround that will allow you to use the template IF it doesn't use any of the new features in 11. I've used it on multiple templates and its worked every time with little or no modification.
