Memory issues and support for iPod touch (5th gen)

After extensive testing and player feedback, it seems that Milo & Me crashes endlessly on iPod touch (5th gen), iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S. There doesn't seem to be much issue with older iPads (iPad 2, etc) which is strange because they also have only 512MB of RAM. Anyone have suggestions on how to decrease memory usage and/or support those devices?

I've tried a lot of the items listed in older posts and don't really see too many new ones that go in-depth.

    It does seem strange, I always test on iPad one initially.

    Have you tried reducing the size of images and music?

    My artist sent be some backgrounds recently 1024x768 and they came in at 1.3 mb each so I ran them through our pgn tool and compressed to 250 ish kb's with no visible loss of quality.

    If quality doesn't change,what exactly is changing in pictures?

    Can you give an example of a game that changed the whole picture with this tool on the appstore?

    Before doing so I want to see an example,how does it looks?
